Dear Bear Valley Springs Residents,
At this time, we would like to announce that we havereceived a Kern County permit to replace the aging Hood System and FireSuppression system in the Mulligan Room kitchen with a new larger Hood system.Based on the original plan to expand the kitchen area, which has beencontinually postponed due to building permit issues, we have re-evaluated theoriginal expansion and have developed a new plan to improve efficiency and freeup much needed space in the kitchen.
Based on the quick timeline to install the Hood System, theMulligan Room will be closed starting this Sunday, March 23rdat 1:00 p.m. and will tentatively be closed until the following Tuesday, April1st.
Due to the closure time needed to complete the project, wewill be offering a modified menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the OakBranch Saloon beginning on Tuesday, March 25th. The Mulligan Room“Hours of Operation” will apply in the Oak Branch Saloon and the staff will berelocated to the Oak Branch Saloon to provide service.
Listed below are the initial plans for the Oak Tree CountryClub “Hours of Operation” by the day to help avoid confusion. Keep in mind,that we will have a several menus in place during dinner service and the “To Go”Window will be open at the Oak Tree Country Club as well.
Sunday, March 23rd – The Mulligan Roomwill close at 1:00 p.m. so we can remove all the KitchenEquipment and start moving the necessary food and beverage supplies from theMulligan Room to the Oak Branch Saloon. The Oak Tree Country Club is open fornormal dinner service.
Monday, March 24th – The Mulligan Room andOak Tree Country Club will be completely closed so we can finish relocating thefood and beverage supplies needed to open for breakfast service Tuesday morning.We will also be loading the modified menus in our Toast Point of Sale system toaccommodate the move.
Tuesday, March 25th – The Oak BranchSaloon will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast will start at7:30 a.m. The menus will be modified, and we will be offering pizza for dinneras an additional option. The drive through the window will also be open. Pleasecontact the Oak Tree Country Club for more information.
Wednesday, March 26th through Sunday, March 30th- The Oak Branch Saloon will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfastwill start at 7:30 a.m. The Oaks and Saloon menu will be offered for dinner,and we will have Mulligan Room menu specials available as well.
Monday, March 31st and Tuesday April 1st– The Oak Branch Saloon will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfastwill start at 7:30 a.m. The menus will be modified, and we will be offeringpizza for dinner as an additional option. The drive through the window willalso be open.
On Monday, March 24th, once we switch over menus,phones and have printed menus available, we will be communicating moreinformation. During the closure we are planning on replacing the carpet in theMulligan Room but are still working on the installation schedule and carpetavailability. This will be a very fluidsituation depending on the installation of the Hood System and make everyeffort to stay on schedule to avoid any delays in re-opening. We also have other improvements planned suchas new counter tops and cabinets but those will be installed later as timepermits.
We are very excited about the installation of the new Hoodand Fire Suppression System for the Mulligan Room and look forward to improvingthe operation and the efficiency of the kitchen.
Please remember that the staff will do their best totransition both dining venues into one operation at the Oak Tree Country Club.We would ask that you be understanding while dining at the Oak Tree CountryClub during the Mulligan Room closure.
