Dear Bear Valley Springs Residents,
At this time, we wanted to give you and update on the Mulligan Room Hood System/ Fire Suppression installation. Since closing the Mulligan Room, the new hood system has been installed. This was a huge undertaking, and we are very pleased with the results. Due to some delays and unforeseen delays, the Ansel System installers could not complete the final installation and should be completed in the next few days. Once the system is completely installed, we are required to move the kitchen equipment back into the kitchen so the entire system can be inspected by the Kern County Building, Fire and Environmental Health agencies. We are still waiting on the inspection schedule as well.
In addition to the Hood System installation, wewere able to replace the carpet in the Mulligan Room and we are currentlypainting the dining area to give it a fresh new look. Once all of the work iscompleted, we will be ready to open the Mulligan Room.
Based on the pending inspection dates and theforecast for snow this week, which may cause delays, we will be keeping theMulligan Room closed for an additional week. If all goeswell, we have tentatively planned on re-opening the Mulligan Room on Wednesday,April 8th. This will give us time to complete the project properly and allowthe Food & Beverage staff time to properly restock and set up the MulliganRoom for service. If we can open earlier, we will let you know.
